Zwift, the global online training platform, today announced the return of the Tour de Zwift for 2021. This popular event returns with eight stages for cycling and running, starting January 4.

The Tour de Zwift is an inclusive stage event that allows Zwifters of all levels to explore Zwift’s eight worlds, discover new routes, and join a host of events. The program includes group rides, races, meetings with special guests, as well as Rookie Rides and Runs, specific bike races and rides for beginners.
Rookie Rides and Runs are recommended for those new to the world of Zwift. These events will be led by some of the most experienced Zwifters. They will be there to share their knowledge and ensure participants have a good time learning the basics of a group event.

The rides will be maintained between 1.2 w/kg and 2.0 w/kg to encourage everyone to stay until the end. Designed for those who have never participated in a group event, the races will be held at an affordable pace.
Le Col, a performance apparel brand, will be the official apparel partner of the Tour de Zwift. Le Col has designed the official Tour de Zwift 2021 kits. The limited edition cycling kit and technical running tee, identical to the in-game jerseys, are available for purchase today on the equipment manufacturer’s website. Tour de Zwift 2021 participants will receive a $65/£50 voucher to spend on lecol.cc. In addition, all stage finishers will be entered into a raffle for a Colnago C64 road bike, offered by Le Col.
Each stage will take place on a specific map, but it will always be possible to choose between different distances depending on the type of event selected. These events will lead Zwifters past famous London landmarks on a flat and fast course, to try and spot the famous sloth of the Jungle Circuit, to admire the sunflowers while pedaling along the rolling hills of the R.G.V in France (“Route Grande Vitesse”) or to test their legs by counting the hairpin bends leading to the snowy summit of the Alpe du Zwift.
With 852 km of roads to discover during the Tour de Zwift, one thing is certain: there will be something for everyone. In 2021, the Tour de Zwift will take place between January 4 and February 20.
