For cyclists and triathletes, winter means indoor trainers. And this winter, also due to the limitations imposed by current regulations to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, more and more two-wheel enthusiasts have chosen to train indoors. These training sessions are often supported by the use of online platforms that allow virtual challenges and competitions on routes with multiple difficulties. Due to poor ventilation, a side effect of indoor cycling is high perspiration. This is why, for effective and fun training on smart trainers, Santini offers a line of clothing, available for him and for her, created specifically for indoor training and with a particularly evocative name: Forza.

The Forza line for him
Forza for men consists of bib shorts, a technical jersey, a short-sleeved technical t-shirt, and a sleeveless top specifically for indoor training. The bib shorts are made with innovative materials that increase perspiration during activity and promote cooling, also thanks to perforated Lycra inserts. They feature a C3 chamois with an ergonomic 3D surface of differentiated density for total comfort. The technical t-shirt, available in sleeveless and short-sleeved versions, as well as the jersey, are made of recycled Polartec© Delta fabric which acts as a cooling system, facilitating heat transfer from the body and managing perspiration. The garments feature a modern graphic design that plays on geometries and shades of grey and green.

The Forza line for her
For women who train on rollers, Santini offers a complete line: strapless shorts, a short-sleeved technical t-shirt, a sleeveless top, and a technical jersey. The strapless shorts are made with a special Lycra that offers a high level of muscle compression and breathability. The high elastic waistband increases comfort, as does the GILevo chamois specifically designed for the female anatomy. There are three jerseys to combine with the shorts: a tank top that leaves the shoulders free, a technical t-shirt with a soft cut, and a technical jersey. Three garments united by the same recycled fabric, Polartec© Delta, which allows high breathability and wicks sweat to the outside. Made in a color variation that plays on shades of pink, purple, and orange.

Accessories
Two essential accessories for training on rollers? A headband and a soft cotton towel. The headband is available in green-grey for him and purple-orange for her and has an inner cotton layer that absorbs sweat and an outer polyester layer that facilitates its dispersion. The towel, on the other hand, is made of soft, quick-drying 360-gram cotton, in black with a white Santini logo.

Santini SMS (Santini Maglificio Sportivo) was founded in 1965 on an intuition by Pietro Santini, a cycling and competition enthusiast, and specializes in technical cycling apparel. From the outset, the Bergamo-based company made an important choice: to design and produce exclusively in Italy. Today, this vision seems to have a revolutionary and counter-current side. Each garment, rigorously made in Italy, is created and developed by a team of designers with a true passion for the world of two wheels and upholds four promises: fit, performance, comfort, and durability. To date, Santini produces more than 3500 pieces per day, 80% of which are exported.
Investment in R&D on innovative fabrics and production methods is constant. The athlete is the focus of Santini’s attention, and for this reason, striving to design comfortable and stylish outfits that allow the practice of one’s sporting passion is the mission that Santini SMS has set for itself.
