TRIATHLON – Course details for the 2020 Challenge Daytona PTO with Vincent Luis

On December 6, 2020, Vincent Luis will start the Challenge Daytona PTO in Florida, an extraordinary and spectacular event that takes place entirely within the Daytona International Speedway circuit.

On an adjusted middle distance (2-80-18), the two-time French world champion, invited on a wild card, along with other short-distance specialists such as Norwegians Gustav Iden (Ironman 70.3 world champion in 2019 in Nice) and Kristian Blummenfelt, Briton Jonathan Brownlee, and South African Henri Schoeman, will be able to compete against the world’s best long-distance triathletes, including the German powerhouse Jan Frodeno, three-time Ironman world champion in Hawaii and multiple 70.3 winner, announced on the starting grid.

On the menu? Fun, competition, spectacle, high-level performance, and a prize money of 1,150,000 dollars to share. In 2019, Canadian Lionel Sanders dominated this original format, which promises to quickly gain a significant place in the international calendar. Will Vincent Luis beat the specialists? The answer will be on the track. In the meantime, here are the course details.
