TRIATHLON: 2021 FFTRI Grand Prix and National Event Calendar Dates

Marking the desire to bring together the 1st and 2nd Divisions in the same locations starting next season, the National Events Commission notably selected the candidacies of the cities of Châteauroux, Metz, Quiberon, and Saint-Jean-de-Monts for Triathlon, and the cities of Saint-Avertin, Parthenay, Paillencourt, and Châteauroux for Duathlon.

Following the success of the French Youth and Adult Triathlon Championships held at the same site in 2020, the cities of Pontivy for Triathlon and Noyon for Duathlon will host – on the same principle – the Individual Championships for the two disciplines concerned. It should be noted that for Aquathlon, the organization of the French Championship for the discipline by the city of Angers – whose candidacy had been accepted in 2020 but had to be canceled due to the health crisis – has been renewed and will take place on July 17.

Regarding the ½ Finals of the French Youth Triathlon Championship, the National Events Commission validated the holding of all qualifying events on the same day, May 23, 2021.

While awaiting the release of the complete National Events calendar, which will be published in early December, here are the first dates for the 2021 season below.
