An iconic figure in road cycling, Fabian Cancellara has designed his own GORE Wear line, integrated into the C7 and C5 collections.

The new Cancellara collection combines two advantages: GORE Wear’s high-end products/technologies and the knowledge/recommendations of a valuable brand ambassador.
This collection consists of eight products: bib shorts, jerseys, a jacket, gloves, and socks, each available in one of two ranges: GORE Wear C7 or C5. The C7 collection is race-oriented, while the C5 collection features some of GORE Wear’s best-selling road cycling items with a modified design.
Fabian Cancellara, former Olympic and World Champion, played a key role in the development and design of this high-end collection. Throughout his professional career, Fabian Cancellara’s goal was to be the best. It is with the same mindset that he created this equipment, featuring GORE’s best technologies, notably the C7 collection.
The design in detail
A specific design element of the Cancellara apparel is the “heptagon,” inspired by the number 7, referencing Fabian Cancellara’s seven victories in the Spring Classics and his victory in the Tour de France prologue (on 7/7/2007). It also evokes the shape of a cobblestone, his preferred terrain.
The heptagon appears mainly as a subtle print and is also found on small elements such as the jersey zippers. The ultramarine blue color, a personal choice of Fabian Cancellara, is particularly aesthetic. It is featured throughout the collection, as well as on the GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY stretch jacket.
