The Cyclosportive de la Madeleine, one of the most beautiful and mountainous events in France, will take place on Sunday, August 9.

Like the Lacets de Montvernier, the organization of the 17th edition of the Cyclosportive de la Madeleine is winding.
After many questions and uncertainties about the holding of the 2020 edition, the organizer is happy to announce that the event will be maintained on August 9 as planned, in the heart of the beautiful Savoyard mountains.

After consultation with the main partner, the tourist commune of Saint François Longchamp, the Organizing Committee is mobilizing and working to offer a great cyclosportive to its 550 participants. Health measures are currently being discussed, with the aim of respecting barrier gestures as much as possible, while maintaining the friendly atmosphere of the event.

The routes will take participants over the most beautiful passes of the Maurienne, the largest cycling area in the world. They will be able to climb the Col de la Croix de Fer, the Col du Chaussy via the sumptuous Lacets de Montvernier and/or the magnificent Col de la Madeleine. Four routes are offered to cyclists, with very different distances and elevations, but one pass in common for all, La Madeleine.

– 45 kilometers and 1750 m of elevation gain
– 75 kilometers and 2500 m of elevation gain
– 120 kilometers and 3300 m of elevation gain
– 135 kilometers and 4400 m of elevation gain, one of the most mountainous routes in France!

An unforgettable adventure both for its difficulty and the beauty of the landscape.
