“Whatever the desired size, the Edge 130 Plus and Edge 1030 Plus GPS bike computers offer multiple features adapted to every type of cyclist, from beginners to adventurers to competitive athletes. Combining performance, navigation, safety, and connectivity, these new Garmin GPS bike computers are the perfect teammates to take it to the next level,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin Vice President of Global Sales.
Designed to support cyclists in all their training and rides, the Edge 130 Plus and Edge 1030 Plus synchronize workouts from Garmin Connect™ or other training apps such as TrainingPeaks or TrainerRoad. During a bike ride, the Edge 130 Plus and Edge 1030 Plus rely on essential data to provide dynamic performance metrics, including VO2 Max and heart rate, while the ClimbPro feature displays, for each climb along a route, the remaining elevation and gradient to the summit. Whether it’s a commute or a ride with friends, these new Garmin GPS bike computers offer integrated safety and tracking features essential for every cyclist: assistance, incident detection, and LiveTrack, which allows the user’s loved ones to know their real-time position and follow the pre-established route from start to finish.
With model-specific features, the Edge 130 Plus and Edge 1030 Plus offer easy-to-follow navigation, as well as key metrics and data for a complete experience.
Edge 130 Plus: a connected GPS bike computer for optimal performance

The Edge 130 Plus allows all cycling enthusiasts to stay on track thanks to GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo satellite positioning systems which, combined with its barometric altimeter, offer wider coverage and more accurate data, allowing tracking of speed, distance, and altitude of activities. Before hitting the road, cyclists can plan and download their route with Course Creator from the Garmin Connect website. Based on the Trendline™ routing feature, the Edge 130 Plus offers cyclists the best roads, mountain paths, or trails, aggregated from the most frequently used routes by other users. Clearly legible course directions appear along the route, complemented by a track to show the cyclist where they came from and where they are going.
The Edge 130 Plus boosts cyclists’ performance by providing them with precise metrics such as VO2 Max, heart rate, heart rate zones, and calories burned. For cycling enthusiasts looking for new adventures, it keeps detailed statistics for mountain biking, including the number and distance of jumps, as well as airtime to relive the exhilaration of each ride.
The connectivity features offered by the Edge 130 Plus allow cyclists to ride without worrying about their phone. Text messages appear directly on the screen, allowing them to be read while pedaling, the weather app displays current and forecast weather conditions, as well as weather alerts to avoid being caught in a downpour. Used in conjunction with a compatible smartphone, the Edge 130 Plus automatically transmits data to Garmin Connect at the end of the activity. It has a battery life of up to 12 hours in GPS mode. Featuring a 4.6 cm (1.8 inch) anti-glare screen, the Edge 130 Plus offers cyclists a clear and precise display in all circumstances, while the button design ensures ease of use on all types of terrain.
Edge 1030 Plus: the high-end Garmin bike computer

From the most remote trails to the most epic alpine expeditions, the Edge 1030 Plus puts everything within reach of every cyclist. Featuring wider map coverage with the integration of the United States and Europe, Garmin Cycle Maps offers turn-by-turn navigation assistance, signaling the most dangerous turns directly on the screen. Cyclists can create new routes and courses directly from the device, or take advantage of the Trendline feature, which analyzes Garmin user data to define and categorize the best routes based on their popularity. Cyclists using Strava and Komoot apps can also create routes that will then be transferred directly to the device. For those who want to go off the beaten path, it is now possible to temporarily pause navigation and route deviation notifications. With the preloaded Trailforks app, users have access, directly on the screen, to detailed information on mountain bike paths and trails crisscrossing more than 80 countries. When a cyclist stops during a ride, Forksight mode automatically displays upcoming forks and shows the bike’s current position relative to the trail network.
The Edge 1030 Plus supports cyclists in all their performances by offering precise tracking of their VO2 Max, recovery time, training load, and goals, to see how their body reacts to physical exertion and by offering daily training advice based on these measurements.
This new bike computer also allows users to protect their body in different environments by measuring their acclimatization level to changes in temperature and altitude, while also signaling when it is necessary to rehydrate. In addition to features specific to mountain biking – calculating the number and distance of jumps and airtime – the Edge 1030 Plus offers the “Grit” feature, which analyzes the difficulty level of a course using GPS, elevation, and acceleration data, and the “Flow” feature, a tool that measures the fluidity of descents along a trail.
The Edge 1030 Plus is ready for the road in just a few moments, even during the first use; indeed, customers who have already used an Edge will be able to download personalized profiles, based on the settings of their old Edge. For new Edge users, the device will automatically adjust according to their practice and the sensors used, based on the most popular settings among other users.
This new bike computer is also compatible with Tacx indoor trainers to give cyclists the freedom to train wherever and whenever they want.
To stay connected at all times, the Edge 1030 Plus automatically transfers activity data to Garmin Connect and offers a group tracking and messaging feature allowing cyclists to go on adventures separately while staying in touch.
In GPS mode, when multiple sensors and connected features like LiveTrack are activated, the Edge 1030 Plus has a battery life of up to 24 hours. The best ally for any cyclist, whatever the weather conditions, the bike computer offers a fast and responsive 8.9 cm (3.5 inch) touchscreen, even in the rain or with gloves. In addition, its new faster processor displays data and pages smoothly, providing unprecedented user comfort.
