Canyon launches its first road e-bike, the Endurace:ON AL

Seniors who want to continue riding every week, new athletes who want to stay in the peloton, occasional riders who want to have fun while controlling their exercise: all these groups can now continue to ride as they like, where they like to do it, with the new Canyon Endurace:ON AL.

To ensure the signature handling of a true Canyon road bike, the Endurace:ON AL is built on the brand’s most advanced geometry: the SPORT geometry, present on all Endurace models. To meet the demands of road e-bikes, the chainstays have been lengthened by 10 mm to 425 mm, in order to accommodate the motor system and increase the feeling of grip, especially for descents with the additional weight.

Power is provided by the Fazua Evation motor. The effortless feel of this motor’s minimal-assist system is particularly well-suited for road riding. All Endurace:ON AL models will benefit from the latest manufacturer improvements: the Black Pepper Performance, which has completely revised the motor to take even more advantage of the 250 watts and 60NM of torque.

Since the components of a road e-bike are subject to significant stresses, the Endurace:ON AL is assembled with peripherals specially selected to guarantee reliability, handling, and comfort: an aluminum frame, a carbon fork, a carbon seatpost, 32 mm Schwalbe E-One tires, thru-axles, 160 mm rotors, and a Shimano GRX drivetrain. Complemented by the incredible Evation motorization, weighing only 4.6 kg and perfectly integrated into the down tube, the total weight of the bike is only 15 kg. The result: a bike that retains all the agility of a classic road bike.

But the Evation is not only light. On the Endurace:ON, it also delivers an impressive dose of performance. No wonder, as Canyon is the first manufacturer in the world to benefit from the latest improvements to the Fazua Black Pepper Performance system. The gains are impressive: power delivery has been revised for greater ease, increased fluidity, and assistance across a wide range of cadences – from 50 to 120 rpm. To put it simply: with its new settings, the Evation is the ultimate motorization system available today for a road e-bike.
