Teebike has developed a front wheel equipped with a waterproof 250-watt motor and a latest-generation battery. Connected via Bluetooth to the app, it transforms any classic bike (city, mountain, hybrid) into an electric-assist bike in minutes! Simply replace the bike’s front wheel with the Teebike wheel, no electric cables needed, just a simple wrench and you’re good to go!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Remove the current front wheel and replace it with the Teebike wheel.
2. Download the “Teebike” app and connect the wheel to your phone via Bluetooth.
3. Hit the road! The app allows you to adjust the electric assistance levels from 20% to 99% to manage your effort as you wish.

Environmental and societal dimension

Since its creation in October 2019, Teebike has been committed to an environmental and societal approach: Teebike batteries are collected and recycled by Corepile, the leading eco-organization in France in this field. The wheels will very soon be assembled in ESATs (Establishments and Services for Assistance through Work). Teebike is partnering with EcoTree on forestry projects to help create carbon sinks that offset the emissions generated by the manufacturing and transport of its wheels. Through this partnership, Teebike also offers its customers the opportunity to truly own a tree and participate in the renewal and sustainable management of French forests. How much does it cost?

750 euros.
Eligible for certain public subsidies (up to 400 euros for the city of Paris, for example) for the purchase of Electric Assist Bicycles (EABs) and electrification kits. As well as corporate subsidies. Long-term rental options available for 12, 24, or 36 months starting from 26.90 euros. Payment in 3 and 4 installments possible.

TEEBIKE WHEEL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

With a long range (depending on weight and speed: approximately 60 km for men and 80 km for women), the Teebike wheel’s battery is guaranteed for 25,000 km, which is equivalent to an electric bike costing over 2,500 euros. A weight that does not exceed 20 kg (bike + wheel). The Teebike wheel weighs 7 kg and adds to the weight of a traditional bike (up to 13 kg). The Teebike motor is 100% waterproof, with zero risk of breakdown due to rain, humidity, or mud. Continuous motor assistance, which avoids jerks. The BOOST function, available on very few electric bikes (over 3,000 euros).
