Kometa Xstra teams ride Alberto Contador’s Abikesofficial bikes

The Kometa Xstra Continental, U23, and Junior teams are riding bikes from Alberto Contador’s Abikesofficial brand this season, which still has no name… but has already made a remarkable impression at various levels of the peloton.

As expected, Alberto Contador’s Fundacion Kometa Xstra Cycling Team swapped their Treks in the off-season and are now riding bikes from the brand launched by “El Pistolero” on January 1, 2020.

The riders debuted their new equipment in training during pre-season camps, as here in Oliva in the Province of Valencia, and in competition this week at the Challenge Mallorca.

The Continental, U23, and Junior teams benefit from an Abikesofficial model equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace (and Ultegra) disc brake drivetrain including a Rotor crankset, Vision Metron (and Team) wheels mounted with Vittoria Corsa tires, FSA components for the handlebars, stem, and seatpost, and a Prologo saddle. In a black color scheme, to prolong the teasing and maintain the mystery surrounding the identity of the brand conceived by the former rider, of which only the logo has been revealed for now.
