Partners since 2014, Team Jumbo-Visma and the Italian firm Bianchi are continuing their adventure for the 2020 season. The Dutch team’s presentation in Amsterdam highlighted the new colors and the Jumbo-Visma armada for the coming year, as well as the 2020 versions of the bikes that will accompany the riders in their daily work and their quest for success.

The Infinito CV relies on Bianchi’s Countervail carbon construction system to improve vibration damping without compromising frame stiffness and strength.

Jumbo-Visma riders will thus have the Bianchi Oltre XR4, Infinito CV, and Aquila CV models for time trial events. No major changes in colors and range, except for more pronounced black stripes, but still a seductive and unique style for the firm with the celeste color.

The aerodynamic Bianchi Oltre XR4, the Italian firm’s ultimate race bike. Available in disc brake or rim-brake versions, and featuring Countervail carbon construction, a fiber technology developed by the brand.

Team Jumbo-Visma’s Bianchi bikes will be equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain (hydraulic disc brakes or rim calipers), Shimano Dura-Ace C40 or C60 wheels (and PRO for time trials), Shimano Dura-Ace pedals, and Vittoria Corsa tubulars. Fi’zi:k remains the technical partner for saddles and FSA-Vision for the cockpit (bars and stem).

The Bianchi Aquila CV rocket: it is on this machine that Tony Martin, Tom Dumoulin, or Primoz Roglic will unleash their watts and their speed during individual or team time trial events.

With 52 victories in 2019, including the Vuelta won by Primoz Roglic, the Dutch team also announced the main lines of its 2020 campaign, with a primary objective of winning the Tour de France, where it is expected to deploy an armada led by Primoz Roglic, Tom Dumoulin, and Steven Kruijswijk. George Bennett, however, should be the leader for the Giro, and Steven Kruijswijk for the Vuelta. Wout Van Aert, Mike Teunissen, winner of the first stage of the 2019 Tour, and Amund Grondahl Jansen, the Norwegian champion, will be the headliners for the Flemish classics, while Tom Dumoulin and Primoz Roglic are expected to lead the team in the Ardennes classics. Finally, sprinter Dylan Groenewegen will focus his season on Milan – San Remo, the Giro, and the Vuelta.
