New – BH Core, electric road and gravel bikes with long range

Its aesthetic is minimalist and clean, eliminating the visual differences associated with electric models. The entire system required for an electric bike has been designed to bring together the frame, motor, and battery design under similar schemes. No integration between these elements has reached such a level until now. Harmony, technology, and visual appeal allow the usual components of a traditional bike and those of an electric bike to coexist.

Up to 115 km of freedom

One of the fundamental pillars of electric bike use is its range. Core electric bikes offer a range of up to 115 km by combining low motor energy consumption and a 540 Wh battery. Completely hidden, the latter has a charging port on the side of the down tube. It can also be recharged to 80% in just an hour and a half. A fast charge that allows its field of use to be multiplied.

A unique motor: silent, light, compact and powerful

The motor is the other key component of the Core system. Its main virtue is its weight, only 2.5 kg, and its reduced dimensions allow for perfect integration into the frame. Its position helps keep the center of gravity very low, synonymous with stability and safety when riding. It is possible to use entirely traditional double chainring drivetrains which, coupled with the motor that generates no friction when in unassisted mode, offers the cyclist pedaling without power loss. The 250 W motor offers 60 Nm of torque and 4 configured assistance modes. Its operation is extremely quiet.

A reduced Q-factor for pure cycling sensations

Its size results in a Q-factor of only 163 mm, as well as very short chainstays. In short, all these properties allow electric bikes equipped with the Core system to ensure responsiveness and riding sensations extremely close to a traditional bike. Performance, efficiency, and ergonomics on an electric bike have never been so close to their “muscle-powered” counterparts.

Core Heart, simplicity and total control

The Core Heart system display stands out for its minimalism. Integrated into the stem, the multi-colored LED indicators allow for quick and visual identification of the assistance mode being used. To switch between modes, simply press the central button. All complemented by the Core App for iOS and Android, where it is possible to customize the LED indicator colors and assistance modes.

Cable-free

The other great advantage of the Core system is its level of integration, which gives the range an aesthetic very close to traditional road models. The visual differences between the BH G8 Disc and the new Core bikes are barely perceptible. They have even adopted a completely internal cabling structure, with no visible cables thanks to the ACR system. The BH Bikes Core system paves the way for a new generation of electric road and Gravel bikes, which manages to reproduce the performance and riding sensations of traditional models. It is the gateway to unlimited cycling.
