TRIATHLON – Ironman Hawaii 2019: What Bike Brands at Kona? –

For nearly 20 years, our colleagues at the American magazine Triathlete have been counting the equipment used by all qualifiers, both pros and age-groupers, at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. That’s over 2,500 athletes every year!

Everything is covered: frames, wheels, drivetrains, extensions, pedals, power meters, saddles, front and rear hydration systems, and hubs. It’s a good way to get an idea of the triathlon market, equipment-wise, in the context of an event like the Hawaii Ironman.
