To kick off the summer season, what could be better than a fun, unifying sporting event centered around cycling? Maurienne, the world’s largest cycling area, is organizing the first Cycling Festival in the last week of June, culminating in the weekend of June 29 and 30.
A week for all cycling enthusiasts, in all its forms (road, mountain biking, e-bikes, etc.) and for all levels. Saint-Jean de Maurienne, as the world capital of climbing cyclists and a stage town for the 2019 Tour de France, will have the honor of hosting this extraordinary event this year, but activities will also take place throughout the region between June 23 and 30, 2019.

The program includes numerous, free, and varied activities: a “Cycling and Innovation” public exhibition, an activity village, cycling tours, introductory sessions and discovery workshops, shows… And a first in France: the Vélo Parade on the A43 motorway on Sunday, June 30, subject to validation by state services.

It should be noted that Italy will be the guest of honor for this first edition, as it has many ongoing projects with Maurienne (transalpine mountain bike and e-bike routes, etc.).

Spanning three hectares, The activity village – Saint-Jean de Maurienne will host a wide variety of activities for all audiences:
