TDF: a ride for everyone on the Champs-Élysées

In June, most of the Grand Boucle’s stage towns celebrate the Tour de France festival by organizing a series of events designed to promote cycling, both as a leisure activity and as a daily means of transport.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Yellow Jersey, the Tour de France, in association with the City of Paris, is extending the festivities by inviting all cycling enthusiasts to take part in the Tour de France Randonnée on Sunday, July 28, on the 7-kilometer circuit used by the professional peloton at the end of the last stage.

Cyclists will be able to discover the new cycle path that allows them to cycle safely on the Champs-Élysées.

The randonnée – open to all from 14 years of age and accessible to people with reduced mobility – will start on Avenue Foch at 1:30 pm. Each participant will receive a collector’s t-shirt in the colors of the Yellow Jersey’s 100th anniversary before cycling down the most beautiful avenue in the world. For two hours, the Champs-Élysées will be open to randonneurs.

The 5€ registration fee per person will be donated in full to two associations: Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque and Agir pour la santé des femmes.
