TRIATHLON – Ironman 70.3 Barcelona (W): Fenella Langridge Dominates Catalonia

In the absence of the recent ITU Long Distance World Champion, Belgium’s Alexandra Tondeur, who was registered but ultimately not present at the start, the women’s Ironman 70.3 Barcelona race was quite open.

In the end, Britain’s Fenella Langridge won with a good lead over Belgium’s Sara Van de Vel (+6’33) and Hungary’s Gabriella Zelinka (+7’27).

Charlotte Morel (3rd in the Cannes International Triathlon at the end of April), who was also expected, ultimately had to withdraw from the start.
