TRIATHLON – WTS Yokohama (W): 3rd victory for Zaferes, Périault and Beaugrand far behind.

Same old story. After Abu Dhabi and Bermuda, Katie Zaferes once again won the 3rd stage of the World Triathlon Series this morning, an event held in Yokohama (Japan). The American is simply unbeatable at the moment and finished ahead of two compatriots, Summer Cook Rappaport (2nd) and Taylor Spivey (3rd).

As in Bermuda during the 2nd stage, the French women did not shine. Léonie Périault finished 29th and Cassandre Beaugrand was forced to abandon during the 3rd running lap.

The 4th stage will take place in Leeds, England, on the weekend of June 8-9.
