Six months before the 4th edition of the Alpsman Xtrem Triathlon (June 8), all 500 bibs have already been taken, proving the enthusiasm for this extreme race (*) with its 5600 m of positive elevation gain, which has already found an important place in the French triathlon calendar.
For its part, the Alpsman Xperience (June 9) changes format this year and becomes a “Tri Race”, an opportunity to test oneself in the three triathlon disciplines but without transitions and over accessible distances (1.2-27-12) with two mass starts for swimming and cycling and a pursuit start for running based on the cumulative times of the first two events.

(*) The Alpsman XXL concept and distances:
- Start from a boat at sunrise (unique in France)
- 3.8 km swim,
- 183 km bike with 5 passes to cross and 4300m D+
- 42 km run with two different finishes. Those who pass “the turning point” at km 26 before the cut-off time will treat themselves to a hellish finish to reach the summit of Semnoz located 1300m higher (Top Finisher). The rest of the athletes will complete the marathon with a finish at the lake (Lake Finisher).
